As a leader in the wireless / smart world marketplace, we are delighted to announce 7Layers participation in the Telematics Initiative NRW consortium, where we recently presented an integrated test concept for a telematics demonstrator. The innovative demonstrator will help upcoming Smart Services providers, including applications such as fleet management, pay-as-you-drive applications, mobile automotive payment concepts, etc. to set up telematics services in a straightforward and secure way. 7Layers has a suite of services for Smart Services companies addressing reliable connectivity, interoperability, data security, accountability and service quality.
Supporting our growing and extensive lab footprint, we are also pleased to announce our strategic collaboration with the Inspection & Quarantine Technology Centre of Zhongshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau offering one-stop testing and certification solution for lighting product manufacturers in China. In Germany, we have received recognition of our Türkheim laboratory by the US Coast Guard to test hazardous location equipment and in France we bring news of AET France's DB Test becoming an Associated CB Testing Laboratory (ACTL) for household appliances under the responsibility of Bureau Veritas' LCIE. Additionally, there is information on our Smart Grid EMC testing in Taiwan.
